Ep. 119 | 1973 Fantasy Beatles Albums
We asked 100 Untitled Beatles Podcast (only)fans what comes to mind when they hear the words “1973 Fantasy.” Show me, Tattoo! (Buzzer sfx.) Show me, Seven Years Pre-“Double”! (Louder buzzer sfx. Too loud, even.) Show me, 1973 Fantasy Solo LP! Survey says? (Ding ding ding ding!) (Dong dong dong dong!)
Yes, it’s the 50th anniversary of one of the great solo Beatles years. And listener Beatle Dave suggested that we honor ’73 by compiling a fantasy Beatles island/album culled from that year’s releases. Did any surprises make the list, Tony? What classics are nowhere to be found, Todd? What other gold did you, Producer Casey, begrudgingly leave in this edit? Possibly, but not limited to…
🦕 Is Tony on Team Barney, Team Betty, or Team Rock Roll? #TwitchTwitch
📼 Should the “family values” jokers be concerned that the kids are getting into ASMVCR?
🐔👅 Does the Kenny Rogers Roasters in Meat Free Monday City serve impossible chicken suckin’ mother truckin’?
What 1973 Fantasy Solo LP would you compile? Let us know on Facebook/Twitter/Instagram OR HELL GO MAKE YOUR OWN PODCAST, WE DON’T HAVE A MONOPOLY ON THE FORMAT. #allcaps

Ep. 116 | Beatle Black Friday Record Store Day
If you're a real patriotic American, you spent the early hours after Thanksgiving waiting in a frigid-ass line at Best Buy at 4am to get a $199 microwave for $192.97. In fairness, it's one o'them microwaves with a built in VCR, so HELL YES.
Or, maybe, like us libz at the UBP, you made your way to your local record store at a more humane hour to pick up some Beatles-related Black Friday Record Store Day vinyl?
On this episode, Tony & T.J. review their RSD experience, the limited Ringo and Dark Horse releases, and also consider:
👣 Did it take changing his name from Elvis Costello to Declan McManus to get back on his feet?
🤑 Will Tony eventually complete his extensive and very expensive solo Devo vinyl collection?
🎷 Has the Live At The Greek All Starr Band's take on "Rosanna" ended yet? No? Fuuuuuuu********k.
Join us for all this and a very special tribute to Mike Ditka's 1988 heart attack (#OliviaNewtonJohn) on this hot off the presses episode!

Ep. 101a | Deep Dish: The Music of 1982 Part 1
This week T.J. and Tony are rising up and back on the streets, basking in the glory that is The Year MCMLXXXII (or for laypeople, 1982). The gruesome nineteen-eighty-twosome reach out and grab their favorite moments from The Beatles Reel Music, Paul’s Tug of War, and Elton John’s tribute to John Lennon. Plus enough 80s tangents to give your silver spoons Pac-Man Fever.
As always, they ask the tough fab questions, such as:
🤖 Who said “Toti mundo nati” better?
Paul, Mork, or Mr. Roboto?
🕺🏻 Would “Ballroom Dancing” have been a stronger B-side for the Grease 2 non-hit “Back To School Again”?
𐄍 Does Tony hear Stevie Nicks’ signature rocker as “Edge of Seven”?
Plus an Untitled Beatles Podcast Exclusive: Producer Casey’s 40th Anniversary Remix of “The Beatles Movie Medley”.
It’s jammin' on the 2…1982 that is…

Ep. 4 | Approximately Infinite Universe (1973)
Tony turns TJ on...to Yoko Ono's 1973 double-LP Approximately Infinite Universe. They explore the merits of her influence and the complexities of her marriage to John at the time this album was recorded. TJ comes to terms with his disdain for Elephant's Memory, particularly the saxophone, and Tony reveals his least favorite song of all time. Spoiler: it's not by The Beatles (Remember, they like them!)
